WALK
for PEACE
WHY
Jews, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Hinduists, believers or not believers of the world,
time has come to UNITE FOR PEACE.
We are tired of fights and wars which only lead to more violence, pain and suffering.
And shorten the horizon of future generations.
It is our responsibility to change things in a positive way and to change it now.
We cannot wait for future wars, for future crises, for wider raise of hate and resentment,
We must stand up now!
We believe in a better future than the one written by the voice of weapons, the stains of blood and the dark clouds of chaos.
This future is possible. It depends on us to stand up and walk to show our common determination,
Beyond all ethnical, religious, cultural, political or social differences.

HOW
EVERY SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Everyone in every nation of the world, we will stand up and walk.
We will gather on places, in the streets of our cities
and just WALK TOGETHER FOR PEACE.

WHEN
WWW4Peace starts on Sunday, 1st of March
and will culminate on July 12th
We bet we can initiate an exponential and peaceful movement
100,000,000 PEACEWALKERS IN 20 PEACE SUNDAYS
• On March 1st we can be 10,000 PeaceWalkers in each great city of the world.
• On March 8, we can be 30,000 PeaceWalkers/city.
• On March 15, we can be 100,000 PeaceWalkers/city.
• On MARCH 22, 500,000 PEACEWALKERS COULD CELEBRATE THE ‘SPRING OF PEACE’ IN EACH GREAT CITY.
• On May 3, we can reach 1,000,000 PeaceWalkers/city
• On JUNE 21ST, 100,000,000 PEACEWALKERS IN THE WORLD COULD CELEBRATE THE 1ST ‘SUMMER OF PEACE’
We can make it possible: it depends on us.

MUST DO
• Dress in white
• Bear a white flower or a white flag
• No sign, no banner, no national flag
• No political, religious nor community slogan
• Rise up this only word written in many languages: “PEACE”
“Shalom”, “Salam”, “Peace”, “Paz”, “Paix”, “Friede”…
• Don’t shout, keep quiet and demonstrate peacefully.
Let the dynamic value and living wealth of Humanity be evident:
Our extensive diversity and unity will speak more powerfully than words.
Dressed in white, mixed up together,
Men and women,
Children and older ones,
Black and white, brown and yellow,
Just WALK together for PEACE.

Help let this hopeful and meaningful movement become international, transnational, global.
We can prove that Goodness is superior to Evil,
That Peace does not need to wait for institutions to be negotiated.
We are the World and we don’t just ‘wish’ or ‘want’ Peace:
WE MEAN TO MAKE IT. AND WE MAKE IT NOW!

Face à la vive émotion provoquée par le conflit israélo-palestinien parmi les Juifs et Musulmans de France, comme dans la société française et dans le monde,
Face aux tentations de repli, d’accusation et de haine, qui divisent les communautés, détruisent l’harmonie et la paix sociales, ruinent notre capacité à vivre ensemble et menacent notre
démocratie,
Face aux actes inacceptables dans une démocratie comme la France, de violence envers des personnes, des symboles communautaires ou religieux,
Face aux réflexes de peur, de sidération et d’impuissance qu’engendrent l’exhibition répétée de la violence,
Face au déferlement de haine qui en découle,
Parce que nous croyons que la Paix est non seulement possible mais essentielle, et qu’il est de notre responsabilité à chacun de la défendre, de la promouvoir et de la vivre au
quotidien,
Parce que nous croyons que nos différences sont des richesses à partager,
Parce que nous défendons les valeurs de la République : Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité,
Parce que la Paix et la Fraternité sont une réalité que nous vivons tous les jours, à l’école, au travail, dans nos loisirs, comme dans toutes les situations de la vie quotidienne,
Parce que nous sommes déterminés à vivre tous ensemble en paix
Et parce que cette paix-là est productrice d’épanouissement personnel, de forces et de sens collectifs dans notre existence et dans notre pays,
